Just for You

"One always walks away form a class with Jenafor wanting to learn more, read more and come back for more classes."  - Bill Muirhead, ongoing student
Teaching Experience
I have enjoyed teaching in a variety of environments with a wide range of students. I've had the pleasure of teaching in several popular studios in Victoria and Vancouver. I've also worked with a variety of businesses to provide yoga for employees. Additionally, I have experience working one on one with students, as well as designing group classes specific to athletes, teens, and other groups with particular needs.

Check out my weekly public class schedule.

Private Yoga Sessions
People choose to practice privately for many reasons. I have worked with folks who prefer to be in their homes, have limited time to devote to a studio, are working with specific illness or injury and require more attention, and those who want to practice in small groups with a friend or family member. Whatever your reasons for choosing private classes, I would love to work with you!

Investment:
I ask that we commit to working together for six sessions at a time.
$125 for initial session, which includes assessment and discussion of goals/needs, paperwork
$95 for the following five 60 minute sessions
Total: $600

Classes can be delivered online or in-person in Victoria. I may add a small fee depending on your location if we are meeting in your home.

Please note: I offer a limited number of sliding scale spaces for clients who are facing financial limitations. Please reach out if my pricing is a barrier to your participation.

My Approach to Teaching and What You Can Expect
I believe whole-heartedly in the transformative power of Yoga, and that is why I teach.

Yoga is a process of self-realization, self-care, and ultimately, a path to Love. Through Meditation, Pranayama (breathing practices), and Asana (postures), we learn to let go of all the Doing and we practice Being. We meet ourselves, we meet the present moment, and we begin to foster an intimate relationship with Life. No doubt these are challenging tasks. My responsibility as a teacher is to hold a safe, nourishing space for YOU to uncover, discover, and practice presence of body, mind, and spirit and to empower you to continue this practice when you leave your mat.

In life we are too often taught to live by the adage “no pain, no gain”. In Yoga we learn to live by the principle, “no pain, no pain”. Seems like a simple concept, but after years of societal conditioning, learning to listen to our inner guide and do what is right for us as an individual from moment to moment takes time. I always encourage you to start where you are and to listen intently to your inner teacher. I love my students to leave our sessions with a greater sense of peace and ease, and a deeper understanding and connection to Self. It is from this place that we can better connect to other beings with compassion and love. I teach from my heart and from my experience. I offer clear instruction, safety through alignment cues, encouragement, and joy.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
