Let's Talk About Death- A Six Week Series
Wednesdays 1- 2:30pm PST via Zoom
May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9
Investment: $225 (9 hours of class time)

Just as we were all born, we will all die. (oh gasp- she said it!)

What if we celebrated and honoured death in the same way we celebrate and honour birth? Is that possible? What could that look like? How would it feel to revere death not as our enemy, but as our guide to living our best life now? Perhaps we can start by acknowledging that d
eath isn't separate form life, but rather an integral and deeply profound part of life.

Our mortality is truly what makes life and our time here so special.

In this six week series, you will have the chance to explore what matters most to you in terms of your physical, emotional, and spiritual life, as a way to inform how you wish to live, up to and including the day that you die, and beyond.

Each workshop style class will include:
  • an opening and closing guided meditation
  • community check-in
  • weekly contemplation/theme for the group to reflect on and discuss
  • personal journal/ reflection time
  • optional homework to support you between sessions and prepare you for the upcoming theme

Weekly themes:

Week 1: Course introduction, and speaking from the heart about death
Week 2:
Creating physical comfort and safety, and a healing environment
Week 3: Observing emotions and tending to relationships
Week 4: Honouring spiritual beliefs and practices

Week 5: What are you leaving behind? Design your legacy.

Week 6: Reverence for your body after Death, and course completion

This series offers you a warm, supportive and confidential space to explore your life including death, with the added bonus of meeting with the same small group for several weeks to build trust and community as we discover together what opening up to death can teach us about opening up to life.

Learning to be with the truth of our life experience including death, even if it’s uncomfortable is a powerful tool. It helps foster in the moment healing and allows more time to live completely and to live rich and meaningful lives.  By opening up to the rich possibilities of death and dying, we are opening up to the rich possibilities of life and living!

Let's Talk about Death
Healing our relationship with Death starts one conversation at a time

Friday April 9th, 12-1:30pm PST via Zoom
By donation (suggested donation $10)

Death and dying are a natural and important part of Life and living. But somewhere along the way, many of us have lost touch with Death, and this is interfering with our ability to deeply connect with all of Life because it includes Death.

How can we begin to heal our relationship with Death? Talking about it can help. Join me for this opportunity to speak freely about a topic many of us wish we could avoid.

In this 90-minute community event, you're invited to engage with the topics of death and dying through conversation. I will facilitate an opening meditation and offer a list of basic ground rules, after which each participant will have a chance to share from the heart about any aspect of death and dying.

More information and registration available on Eventbrite.

This series offers you the same warm, supportive and confidential space to explore death, with the added bonus of meeting with the same small group for several weeks to build trust and community as we discover together what opening up to death can teach us about opening up to life.
